I gave some parents the wrong information. We are meeting near the gate of ASU equine center at noon tomorrow. Chandler will have his phone on him, so contact him at 919-1626 if you have any questions.

Also, please remember the spaghetti dinner this Sunday afternoon. We'll need the kids there early to help take down chairs and set up everything.

Events this weekend

PowerJam 09 is this Saturday and admission is FREE--check out the following link for more information http://www.immortalsoulband.com/powerjam/. If you are interested in going please let Chandler know as soon as possible.

Also, the spaghetti dinner is rescheduled for this Sunday the 13th at 5pm. If you would like to donate a pot of shaghetti, ingredients to make a pot of spaghetti, bread sticks, desserts or drinks please let me or Chandler know. We'll also make green beans and salad if anyone wants to donate those items. Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased from a member of the youth group or purchased at the door Sunday afternoon. We'll have supplies ready to make them "to go" plates if you are interested in taking them to someone that can't make it out.

Redbirds game

We are trying to get the final headcount for the Redbirds game this Friday night. If you want to go please let me know by tomorrow how many tickets you'll need. The youth group is paying for tickets for members of the group.

Parents and other church members are welcome!! We are meeting at the church at 5:30 to caravan over there.

Spaghetti dinner fundraiser

We have a spaghetti dinner fundraiser planned for 5p on August 9th. We will be passing out tickets to each kid to sell so that we can get a general idea of how much food we will need. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. We'll need donations of pots of spaghetti, bread, drinks and desserts. Please let me or Chandler know what you will be bringing.

Update for Christian Skate Night--TONIGHT!!

I wanted to remind everyone about Christian Skate Night at Family Fun Central tonight. The skating rink is normally closed on Thursday nights but they are having a christian event tonight where they have invited local youth groups and will only play christian music. The event is tonight from 6-8:30.

Skating Party

Family Fun Central is having a christian skate night Thursday July 23rd. I'd suggest sending about $10 to cover admission and snacks throughout the evening. We'd like to have a few adults volunteer to help us chaperone, so please let us know if you would be interested. I don't have the times with me but will add another post later once I have exact information.

Planning Meeting

We are asking students and parents to attend a planning meeting on Monday the 29th at Star Bucks in Barnes and Noble. We'd like to get everyone's input on activities for the remainder of the year. We'll meet at 6:30 and hope to see everyone there!
